Know Who You Are

The whole of true “Believers” is the makeup of the “body” of the Christ; the Moshach, of the prophets; the Anointed One, or Church that was and is to be God’s tool of restoration.  It is the One consisting of the anointed ones that answer the call to show our love for the Christ through obedience to the will of the Father transmitted through Him.[1]  We are the ones that are chosen by Him and ordained[2] to do the greater works than the Christ, Himself.[3]

The God of heaven and earth expects this of His Church.  The Apostle Paul was certain it was on the brink of being revealed in the very immediate future, as expressed in the imperative “now” from the letter to the Roman Believers.[4]  Since God’s method of accounting is always based in  logarithmic multiplication, then we, as the body of Believers, are expected to restore not only those individuals we come in contact with, but creation itself to the perfected state enjoyed in the Garden of Eden.  More on that later.

Restoration though, must first tale place at the individual level. When we begin to reestablish the redemptive power of the Cross on the basis of true, heartfelt repentance, the Holy Spirit of God will trigger the hunger to excel to higher heights, a hunger for the word and the things of God, causing the command to seek ye first the kingdom of God[5] to become the Believers’ greatest priority.  When this hunger is firmly established in the heart, the power of the resurrection starts to grow inside of us; the power that heals the sick and the broken hearted, that causes the blind to see, and society to view God through us.  As the real power of God (I’m not talking about the “power” that allows some charlatan to tell you your address and the color of your couch.) grows in the Bride, we become set apart[6] from the balance of the church.

The body of the Bride, operating in Spirit and truth will then grow in strength and begin to take its rightful place in the plan of God.  As it does, a paradox begins to take place.  The sons of God (and His daughters) are revealed by becoming invisible & transparent.  God shows through them, showing that they are true conduits of His strength so that the invisible God becomes visible in the Church.  As the bondage of decay (or corruption/death) was placed on the whole of Creation through disobedience,[7] the restoration of Creation will burst forth through continued obedience to God through the Christ, allowing it (and us) to enjoy the liberty of eternal perfection and the “life of the ages” (eternal: literal translation).  We will become vessels of the true anointing as we are joined spiritually (or wed) to the “Anointed One” and clearer reflections of Godliness, holiness, and righteousness.

The state, or level, of holiness and righteousness will be a reflection of the state of the soul as it merges with the Spirit in a perfected union, rather than a holiness of outward appearances.  We must never confuse mastery with mimicry, nor follow a show with no substance.  As the soul becomes immersed in the Water of Life, which is the Holy Spirit, we lose the identity of carnality and assume the identity of the Messiah, or Anointed One.  This change must be effected in the character and personality of the Believer.  Insincerity will show through, as the fleshly, carnal man finds it impossible to be an example of Godliness without assuming the character of God, which was in Jesus doing the work through you.  Jesus prayed to His Father in Gethsemane to complete the transfer route of Spiritual authority and Godliness,[8] knowing that we, to continue His work, must have availability to the same fullness of the Godhead as He had.[9]

If we attempt to effect this transformation by our own efforts, the all too familiar façade of “dress up” holiness will be the result, and it will be recognized as such.  If the Old Creature and its habits are more recognizable in what is supposed to be the New Creature than any changes, then the conversion is far from being real, sincere, or new.  But, through the real, Spirit led progress of growth, we will unite with the Spirit of holiness, rather than the appearance of holiness, and a change, causing others to be astonished and wonder if it’s really you, takes place.  We unite with the Anointing of God that was in His Christ, Jesus.  This forms a union that defeats and fully banishes the results of sin that held man, his word, his nature, and his character in bondage for six thousand years.

Only then can we exchange our minds for the mind that was in the Christ.[10]  Only then will we be enabled to establish a new heart of compassion.[11]  Only then will our speech totally drop the bitter sarcasm and cutting retorts of the carnal life and speak the conviction of a loving God seeking to reunite with His children on that personal, one to one basis afforded to Adam in the time of his dominion over the earth and its inhabitants as the Christ returns that Dominion to the Church. And what was returned to the Church when the Christ emerged from the tomb and ascended to the Father?  The full dominion over the earth and access into the presence of God as it was in Eden.

Can we accept that what was lost to Adam in his disobedience was not access to a physical place but rather to a spiritual plane of existence?  Can we then accept that Eden was not only of this earth but also existed in the Spirit, as God was known to “walk” in it?[12] Did God not place an angel to guard the gates of Eden so man would not have access to the tree of life?[13]  We can inarguably assume that God removed Eden completely from the place of natural existence as the tree of life is now located in the HolyCity found in the book of Revelation.[14]

Now we have a basis for understanding why God could not “find” Adam.[15]  It would be ludicrous to suggest that the Omniscient God had no idea where the physical Adam could be found.  It was Adam’s absence from the Spirit place that showed God the manner and level of his disobedience.  This disobedience left a trail throughout history and one that is chronicled in the pages of God’s word.

Once sin had established a foothold on mankind, the enemy settled in.  From Cain to Saddam Hussein the trail of evil became a central part of our way of life.  When Noah answered the call to build the Ark, all of those who witnessed it ridiculed him in the task.  Yes, I realize that is not written in the Bible, but we can assume that no one had a change of heart, as Noah’s family were the only ones called into the Ark upon its completion.[16]
