Perpetuating a Fraud

The Identity of the Messiah
The Church cannot move forward until the Bride is able
to reverse the damage done over centuries of Biblical interpretation. We can no longer insult the Almighty God by
demanding that He share His divinity.
Neither can we any longer tolerate the other extreme of allowing the
Father to be replaced by the Son, as is done in many so-called, “Apostolic”
denominations. This is no better than
the pagan practice of creating God in the image of a man or a beast of the
field. Either way, we are determining
that “hear, o Israel, the LORD, THY God, is one God”[1] has
no validity in today’s way of thinking. In his letter
to the Romans, Paul warned of the dire consequences of this blasphemous action.[2]
Jesus
can no more replace the Father as God than can we replace the Messiah as the
sacrifice. The Christ, Himself,
proclaimed vehemently that the works He performed and the words He spoke were
never His, but those of the Father that sent Him. This designated Him as the representative of God, rather
than His replacement. In commissioning
the Church to carry on these works, and in fact, do greater works, He commands
that we represent Him, in the
same way as He represented God. We see
no better evidence of this than His words in the Upper Room, where He said, “If
ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it
shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified , that ye bear much
fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.” [3]
We
must move away from the identity of the Messiah conferred by man, and fully accept the identity confirmed by the word. Only when we do this will we become the
Disciples we were meant to be and exhibit the true gifts and power of the Holy Spirit, rather than the
shameful charade taking place in the body today and sold as the return of real
Apostolic authority.
Sadly
enough, the Pharisee of today will not be quick to shed the bells and
pomegranates from the hem of his/her robes, and give up the man-given power and
glory so many of them enjoy. The
upheaval this truth will cause will immediately warrant the full persecution of
the established ecumenical aristocracy, directed at those who have recognized
the truth, in attempt to turn the focus away from themselves and cast the true
believer as the heretic. But, as in
times past, God is calling a “people from out of a people,” a remnant, if you
will, that will stand for the truth and cry out as a “watchman on the
wall.” This remnant will be hard to
discredit, as the true power of the Holy Spirit will be manifested in them,
following the preaching of the Gospel of the Kingdom and it’s authority over
the things of man and his world.
But,
even as we today have those left of the nation of Israel that reject the
Messiah and His message of a “Kingdom not of this world,” [4]
they will be joined, ironically, by another group of scoffers that will persist
in preaching “another Jesus;”[5]
refusing to relinquish the power they exercise over mankind at the cost of
rejecting their place in the inheritance of the Bride. This group is the established church body of
today, from the leadership to the laity, all because for centuries one of our
basic articles of faith has been based on a 1700 year old lie that has become
so ingrained in church doctrine that it is never explored or questioned; the
Divinity bestowed on the Son of God.[6]
Sadly, this will cause the
established, classic church to lose what little credibility it has left with
the lost world and be the prelude to the destruction of “Mystery Babylon”
spoken of by John.[7] There is much to say about this vision of
John’s, but that is for another time. Then
the “called out” will be revealed as the “sons of God” [8]
and God will begin to pour out His glory into the earth where it will be
manifested for all to know Him.
