Nobody's Fool--Oh Really?
63It’s that time of year again in Central Texas. You know, when Planned Parenthood trots out the annual Nobody’s Fool seminar. By their claims, it is designed to “encourage abstinence, promote parent-child communication, and give medically accurate and age-appropriate information about sexuality.” [1] The problem with that statement is simple; it’s not the whole truth. Although the first two are vaguely covered, the real agenda of Planned Parenthood is to promote birth control and abortion.
According to their own website, and 8th grade girl’s summation of what she learned is, “One out of five teens get pregnant the first time. Protect yourself.” Does the sound like abstinence was the focus? Or was it birth control? Sadly, Planned Parenthood supports this agenda nationwide. And Planned Parenthood is supported by your tax dollars.

Planned Parenthood will tell you this is not the case, but statistics prove otherwise. Although Planned Parenthood advertises pregnancy counseling and adoption placement services, the real story is startling. In 2009, Planned Parenthood performed 332,278 paid abortions while only referring 977 children for adoption.[1] The reason is purely capitalistic; Planned Parenthood makes money from killing unborn children. They make nothing for adoption referrals. In fact, Planned Parenthood currently the nation’s largest provider of abortions accounting for over 25% of all abortions performed.
The impetus of Planned Parenthood is handing out birth control, using methods that are sketchy at best for reliability. The purpose is to produce unplanned pregnancies, which produces young, anguished mothers, which, in turn, produces profit-making abortions. This is what fuels Planned Parenthood since they have been defunded in many states and a battle still rages to defund them on the federal level.

The argument set forth by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid that defunding Planned Parenthood will end breast cancer screening is also a myth. Calls to Planned Parenthood reveal that not one of the centers has a mammogram machine and cannot provide cancer screening of any kind. Can you say “smokescreen?”
So, as Planned Parenthood of Central Texas gears up for the annual “bait and switch” game with your children (and this program or one like it takes place in every center nationwide) one has to wonder who’s fool we really are? Don’t be anybody’s fool … especially Planned Parenthood’s.

Interesting article. I published an article this morning on NolanChart about Planned Parenthood and the lawsuit with Kansas. It is absolutely terrifying to think most young girls do not understand how PP works. I read (during my research) that New Hampshire requires parental notification prior to an Abortion and PP is trying to get that overturned. Why? Because Parents can talk young girls out of having an abortion and give them other options.
Just thought I would add my two cents to this article, and thank you for the information.
