Barbara Lee Said What?

During a time when the nation sits on pins and needles waiting to see what Washington is going to decide about the debt ceiling, Barbara Lee (D-Ca) has blurted out a statement in direct opposition to what the administration espouses. Let me set the scene, if I may…

For approximately three years now, the administration, through the voices of Treasury Secretary Tim (Turbo-Tax) Geitner and the Savior, Barack Obama, the present economic state has been called everything just short of the Second Great Depression. And hasn’t it been the administration that has declared “Armageddon” will take place if the debt ceiling isn’t raised? Oh yes, I believe it was President Obama that threatened to hold entitlement checks (that’s Social Security, VA benefits, SSI, and other federal responsibilities for you that only spew the current Democrat party line) hostage if he didn’t get his way on “additional revenues? It was? That’s what I thought….

Somebody forgot to tell Barbara Lee. She issued a statement on July 22 calling the debt crisis a Republican fabrication. That’s right … you can sleep safely now knowing that there is no debt crisis. The administration has been duped by a hoax established by, you guessed it, the GOP majority in Congress.

I guess that means Wall Street has fallen for the same hoax. Oh, and the major banks have, too … not to mention Moody and Standard & Poor’s. Oh yeah, the rest of the world economic system has fallen for it as well. But take heart, oh ye people, Barbara Lee has set us straight and put things back into perspective for us. By the way, you'll notice in the statement that her answer to the "fabricated debt crisis" is to vote to spend more money and go deeper in debt. ... huh?

That only leaves one unanswered question. How does this moron keep getting elected? Oh that’s right … she’s from California … the home of Nancy Pelosi. “Nuff said….
